R Gichuru, D.O., M.B.A
Dr. Gichuru is an Obstetrics and Gynecology physician. Currently practicing in the state of Pennsylvania. She does not allow strenuous work hours and everyday demands of her job prevent her from living life to the fullest. Dr. Gichuru will be practicing as an attending physician in the state of Pennsylvania in the near future. Her faith in God is at the center of her mission. She is passionate about women’s rights and equality. Issues such as global medicine, female circumcision and health disparities in developed and developing countries are part of her focus. Dr. Liburd is board certified in Family Medicine currently practicing in Maryland. Dr. Liburd earned her bachelor’s degree in Human Development at Cornell University in Ithaca, NY and her medical degree at Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine. Dr. Liburd is at her happiest when in the presence of laughter, whipping up a semi-gourmet meal in the kitchen, or enjoying God’s sunshine in various corners of the world. Dr. Nurse is an everyday woman: living, dreaming, and adventuring through her life as a board certified Family Medicine physician in the state of California. She received her master of biomedical science and medical degrees from Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. She grounded her life in service at the University of Pennsylvania as an undergraduate. She walks through her life and medicine as a service learner and purveyor in practice. Dr. Nurse is dedicated to and fervent about people and their diverse paths. She feels blessed to serve and lives her life finding new and different ways to journey through the world, leaving an imprint of compassion and change upon those she meets. Dr. Nurse is eager to share her perspectives on adventure, empowerment, and personal well-being with the world. Dr. Sarumi Akinsola is a board certified obstetrician and gynecologist in the state of New Jersey. She received her master of public health degree in social and behavioral sciences from Temple University, while earning her medical degree from Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. She is passionate about empowering other women to be their best selves. In addition, having a life of balance is at the forefront of her mission. You will quickly learn, through her posts, that her faith in God and her family life are at the core of who she is. She will address issues of interdependence, financial responsibility and proactive planning to name a few. Dr. Sarumi is also a first generation Nigerian-American. Dr. Smith is a board certified internist in the state of Florida where she works as a hospitalist and in primary care. She received her medical degree and her master’s in biomedcial science from the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine. She is proud a member of the illustrious Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Incorporated. She is committed to public service, scholarship, women’s rights and the betterment of the community. Dr. Smith, known to some of her patients as “Dr Smitty” also enjoys her life outside of medicine. She is a proud wife of six years and the mother of two children, one of which she birthed during medical school. Dr. Tabuteau-Howe is a Christian, wife, mother, sister, friend and board certified Emergency Medicine physician. In undergrad, she double majored in Nutritional Science and Zoology. She completed medical school at the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine while earning her MBA in Health Administration at St. Joseph University. Dr. Tabuteau enjoys using her work for philanthropic causes both locally and nationally.Internationally She has participated in many medical medical missions including Haiti, East and West Africa.
